Why the name “Blue Star Guides”?
As an Army veteran, I was honored to incorporate some of the responsibilities and values we live by into the naming of my company. America’s Blue Star Families are those who have a family member serving on active duty in our armed forces. I am honored to pay tribute to them by selecting Blue Star as a name for this guide service. Guiding Principles Leading by Example: By following all fish and game laws and respecting our natural resources so all can enjoy the beauty of Maine’s wilderness. Being Prepared: Showing up on time and having well maintained gear, rigged and ready to go. This results in more fishing time for clients. Expert Instruction: With 30 years of teaching experience, breaking down fishing instruction with clients comes naturally. We can start beginners off with sound techniques or help old hands “up their game”. |

Start and end times are designed with you in mind. Keeping you informed and having frequent communication with future guests is one of our strongpoints.
